I am dubious about the power of these game design applications, do developers actually use these?
Autographs are such easy money, you could make thousands in just a few hours sitting down with a sharpie. I find it hard to respect someone who defends that practice. In the comment he said talking about it makes him uncomfortable, but is there not a paid attendance fee for the convention? What about charging less than that? Just because Shatner charges more doesn't make it right.
I understand that it shortens the crowd, but there's something wrong about charging for what usually amounts to scribbles on a photo.

Continents are not real, landmasses are but how to assign them to continents is a arbitrary human classification.

Well, he may or may not have reacted well to the situation. Obviously the killing of the hostage wasn't intended but I can see the reasoning for firing at that point perhaps. Perhaps not too of course but it is plausible.
The trouble is that the LEO created that situation by being where he had no business being. If he had not gone in alone then he would not have been in a position of being threatened and would not have had to shoot. The whole situation could have been avoided.
Now, if protocol had been followed there is no guarantee that we would have had a happy ending. There is a better chance of that though.
This may be the best thing I've ever seen on Reddit. I'm totally going to make my own!
